LTL Freight Drop-Shipping

LTL Drop-Shipping is a supply chain management method in which the retailer does not keep goods in stock but instead transfers its customer's orders and shipment details to either the manufacturer, another retailer, or a wholesaler, who then ships the goods via LTL directly to the customer.

Now let’s simplify this a bit:

1. Your Customer places a large order for supplies or a large piece of equipment you don’t normally stock.

2. You order from your supplier with instructions to ship directly to your customer via your rates.

3. You enter from/to addresses in OnShip for best rates from only qualified & available carriers.

4. OnShip creates a Bill of Lading (BOL) and automatically schedules the pickup from your supplier.
